Each year Picton Lodge participate in a number of local events to raise funds to support local charities. This is one of the primary objectives of Masonry, to assist those in need.
To achieve this objective we participate in a number of local events by providing Parking Services, BBQ facilities, Raffles. Some of the regular events we are involved in include:
One of the largest activities of the Lodge is Charity. The Lodge participates in a number of charitable events where every dollar of profit is donated back to local charities. Some of these include:
- Thirlmere Steam festival - Car parking and BBQ. Held in March each year on the first Sunday of the month. Link to Steam Festival website.
- Picton Music and Harvest Festival - A local event to promote local talent and produce sellers. Link to Music & Harvest Festival page.
- Carrington Homes fete.
- Picton Markets on the First Sunday of each month the Lodge runs a BBQ and Devonshire tea and coffee with the assistance of the members donating all of the profits on a regular basis.

Yearly Calendar
The yearly Calendar includes a number of special events including Anzac Day and Back to Picton in March. Go to the Calendar page to view the current Lodge Calendar.
Installation
Part of the Masonic calendar includes the installation of a new Master each year. This position is elected from the members for the following 12 months. This is a celebration by the Lodge and its members includes a banquet for members and guests. This event is also attended by the Representative of the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of NSW and the ACT.
